IFRS Foundation is offering 4 free courses to help companies understand and apply the new international sustainability reporting standards issued by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).
The four self-paced courses cover the following key topics:
An introduction to IFRS standards for sustainability reporting;
How to apply IFRS S1 - general requirements for sustainability-related disclosures;
What IFRS S2 - the standard for climate change disclosures;
How these disclosures can be integrated into an organisation's internal structure and processes.
The courses combine explanations, visual materials and interactive exercises. At the end of each, participants can take a test and, if they pass, receive a certificate of completion. Access is free for anyone with an account on IFRS.org.
These resources are designed for organisations at the early stages of sustainability reporting, but also for other stakeholders - from consultants and investors to members of compliance or non-financial reporting teams.
Courses are available online via the IFRS Sustainability Knowledge Hub, at the address: https://www.ifrs.org/sustainability/knowledge-hub/courses/.
